Not quite my era but I have seen them in the flesh. My young days were spent doing a few rallys, sprints, production car trials, driving tests and sandocross (autocross on sand) not to mention marshalling. Far better when you are young to be out doing that than spending all your hours in front of a monitor doing F1 and the other artifiicial [Poor language removed]. Get out and do the real thing.
