Haven't seen the result yet and will be tuning in soon but ffs Sky F1 channel. Been actively avoiding the race result all afternoon and according to TV listings the 1 hour replay show supposedly starting 25 minutes ago... I turn it on and there is what appeared to be Gasly getting interviewed. I turned off quickly. So no idea when the replay is on.

I want to know how on earth Perez managed to lose a 13 second lead over Verstappen in the first half of the race. He's gone absolutely terrible the fella.

Everything, as it usually does, went Verstappen's way today, including being in the right place at the right time for safety cars, rain starting and needing to pit, etc. Unreal luck really.

Perez got done over though by RB allowing Verstappen to undercut him, proper dirty by them that - Max didn't need the win, but obviously they will continue to treat Checo like a bitch if he puts up with it.

Think it was mentioned that Red Bull instructed the drivers to look after the Inters because they thought there would be more rain shortly.

One driver obeyed, one didn't. Guess which was which.

Sure verstappen caught him by 4 seconds on one lap when Perez made no obvious mistake and had the same tyres on lol

Hamilton and Russell both sign new contracts to 2025

Good news, even though Russell is the biggest Tory going. Personally, can’t wait for this season to be done now and hope others make huge strides over the winter.

I keep seeing comments from people on various forms of social media insinuating that this Red Bull dominance is no different to the 'run' Mercedes had. I completely disagree.

It's the petulance, rudeness and arrogance from Verstappen which is fast turning people off the sport. Not to mention Horner and Marko. Just a very unpleasant team in general that lack any class. Mercedes aren't perfect by any means, but they conduct themselves in a much more professional way.

Also, at least Hamilton had stronger competition. Bottas and Rosberg were streets ahead of Perez.

To be fair I think pretty much every driver in the paddock is more than capable of being a petulant brat. And Verstappen certainly isn't the first arrogant or rude world champion to grace the sport and I don't think he takes it to new levels. I also think a lot of people perform mental gymnastics to do anything but acknowledge how good he is. They prefer to point to perceived failings of everyone else in F1 but nobody has been able to look a fraction as good in that second RB seat.

I think F1 drivers are just like that in general and the entire industry has bought into the mantra that it's a winners mentality. Combine that with the fact that a lot of the drivers over the years have, kind of by necessity, been rich kids or indulged from an early age and it's not really a surprise.

Mercedes may conduct themselves a little more professionally at the moment but there's an element of it that has been drilled into them by 2 seasons of being humbled. I don't think they covered themselves in glory when they were really feeling the pressure and the balance started shifting towards RB.

In terms of pace Sainz has looked a lot more competitive relative to Leclerc in recent times. Leclerc regressing or Sainz improving ?
