Not sure I agree i'd say half our squad finds a decent club the rest never play at this level again or at least for clubs that aren't of our stature/history...

That might be true but even a player like Michael Keane was Burnley's best player near enough when we took him. He could probably go back there and stand out again.

Pickford, Mina, Godfrey, Allan, Doucore, Alli, Van De Beek, Richarlison, Gray, Townsend, Gordon, Calvert Lewin. Aside from wages they'd all get into at least some other PL teams. Even a player like Iwobi (who I think is rubbish) would find another PL club. The likes of Rondon and some of the more unproven younger players wouldn't.

I'm the same.

Im awaiting May 30th and being able to look at the table and beg we are 17th or higher. It's such a poor squad in terms of creating a cohesive team, on top of that I cant see whos scoring the goals to keep us up. Richy isnt up to it at the moment, DCL looks way off. Gray looks a shadow of the player who staretd. Gordon looks great but doesnt have conviction in his final contributions.

I'm trying not to be completely negative but it is extremely, extremely difficult not to be. I just CANNOT see where the points are coming from. I've had this feeling in the past but always had it ni my head, it will pick up, we'll still get a few points here and there during bad runs.

This time is different. We have all the hallmarks of a club in crisis with nothing to suggest it will change early enough to make a difference.

My last hope is that bottom 3 now are jsut as bad as us. We have to win on Wednesday but CANNOT lose.

Im clinging onto that. Im starting to think its our safest bet :(
