Saturday isn't the template for winning matches. If the best you can do is set up like that and hope you don't lose or maybe nick it you're a poor manager.

All signs are suggesting he is a poor manager. It probably is the template to keep us up this season though.

They are desperate for lampard to succeed so that they can say that all the changes at the club are working...we'll be relegated with lampard for sure, and possibly too late to get a replacement that could save us. I can see them holding out until after the Southampton game depending on the results...problem is that winning Southampton is not enough and we have very difficult fixtures after that one.

They should have sacked after Bournemouth. Some of us said it at the time - there is no hindsight in that. The longer they hold off, the worse this gets.

But that's the easy part. The hard part is getting in somebody who can make a real difference. I wouldn't trust them at all to do that.
