I wouldn't. The situation was almost as bad as this before he came. Remember getting pasted 4-1 at Soton and thought "that's it, we're done". Three days later, West Ham dominate the ball, miss a pen and we don't play great, but we somehow win 4-0. Three days later, we coast 2-0 vs Hudds and then get a point at Anfield despite having about 8% possession.

That game made me laugh, we offered nothing and they gave away a penalty and we got a point ?

I just don’t understand this. Surely the board aren’t making a decision on one game. They either think he’s the man to take us forward or not. Us fluking a draw or win against United shouldn’t change that either way.

The only thing I would say is that the Brighton game was a tactical shambles but it also looked like he might have lost the dressing room

If they don't compete on Friday then that would confirm he's lost the players.

But yes making a big decision like this on the one game is pretty ridiculous but definitely something our board might do.
