2022/23 Frank Lampard

He identifies players but doesn’t do the negotiating. Benitez wanted Digne gone by all all accounts so the club negotiated and got rid.

I don’t think anybody is saying Frank doesn’t have to improve things, they are just saying give him time. I’m not seeing anybody say these are fantastic results. Right?
The results are the outcome of not signing a replacement for Richarlison. To hear Lampard yesterday though, it's apparent that another attacker was only serioulsy considered once DCL got crocked.

THAT is down to him.

It may be so but at least give him a chance. Our history of firing every single manager shows we need to change how we operate.
What can you do when you manage to hire the wrong one every time? There are only 4 managers that are safe banks in the premier league (Tuchel, Klopp, Guardiola, and Conte). Behind you have guys like Howe, Potter, with year long experience at lower clubs with a real idea how to play football. For Everton a guy like that is the only solution. Not big names with zero input.

Where's he walking to mate for a few weeks?

Is he walking back after he's had a few weeks off?
Who knows but if he sees the same as most of us and I'm sure he does and they fail to bring in significant forwards by deadline day and he values his future he will quit otherwise he will be in trouble
Benitez didn’t “sell Digne”. He had a public falling out with him, and then the club sold him because of it rather than just sacking Benitez.
And yet sacked him a game later

I doubt very much he is going to tell you everything that is going on Dave. Let’s see what happens this week. No striker then yeah Everton have not learnt.

When your CB pairing have zero pace and your make shift holding midfielder is Iwobi, I’m not comfortable pinning any tactical blame on him yet.

Spoke a lot of sense in the interview. Talked up Iwobi and Davies but didn't shy from our lack of clinical finishing. Also talks about hoping for a good cup run and hopefully even a trophy. Midtable and a cup would be a tremendous season while Lampard is putting his vision into practice.

It's past that point mate. Replacing Richarlison not even being considered tells me that lessons haven't been learned. I dont need another dose of this tripe to persuade me.

Lampard does have an injury crisis, our ONLY centre forward is injured and our crap kopite DOF sold our other one and didn’t buy a replacement.

Ssssssssssssssssss.

So both managers have experienced similiar sets of circumstances... so you agree both were unlucky and haven't been to blame or both are to blame for the results ultimately?
