There's an old joke from the 1980's, when the New Orleans Saints were abject, that a Saints fan didn't want to go to the game with a paper bag over his head. So he left his two tickets sitting on his dashboard, with the car door unlocked, after he went in to work in the hopes that someone would steal them.
