Hey there geeks and nerds.....

My young feller is looking for a PC Desktop for gaming for his birthday. Any views on what type I should be looking at ? I get drawn to a Dell Alien X21 but probably because I had a Dell before and ound it ok?

Help me GOT you're my only hope.

Build your own.

Get a decent Power Supply.

Spend 30-40% of your budget on a graphics card.

edit : Oh ffs, I'm always the bridesmaid, never the bride !!
 


You need a better processor than Esk's suggested one.

You also need 16GB memory not 8GB.

Also get an SSD for the OS.

Get an Nvidia 770 or better GPU.

Job done.
