I feel like anyone could just speculate or say 'wish we could get Gana back' and it can just snowball on twitter. I thought he's been playing quite a lot at PSG, but not first choice, whereas with us he'd be the main man again.

I was sad to see him go but impressed that his game didn't flag at all after Everton batted away PSG's first attempt to get him.

As ever, I was a bit baffled by all his critics, who seemed upset that he wasn't banging goals in all the time.
