Just a thought... but as people have been talking about our CB's not being good enough on the ball, does anyone think Barry could move back to CB at any point? Reads the game well, played there before, calm in possession...Too slow? Need him too much in midfield?

Said that myself.

Could see him being a quality centre back, but at 6 feet tall can he jump high enough?

I reckon he could play the position quite well alongside a fella as big and quick as Disty. I couldn't see him being better than Jagielka or even Stones though.

He'd be a good fit for LB if Baines was injured or we where short.
 

I think he could definately play as part of a back 3. Being the central one who brings the ball out and the first out making challanges.

But don't see the point tbh, could buy and will need to buy a CB and he's still got at least another 12 months in him as a very good deep CM.
