Very good signing and if he's accompanied by lakaku and Mcarthy on top of keeping baines and just loosing Fellaini and vic, well that's not a bad window IMO.

David McDonnell with the latest on Gareth Barry's insane wages:

"Manchester City agreed to let Gareth Barry go on a season-long loan deal to Everton on the condition the Merseyside club covered the former England international's £100,000-a-week wages.

"It had been thought City would have to subsidise half of Barry's pay, but it turns out that's not the case."

[h=1]James Tyler[/h]IMPORTANT GARETH BARRY NEWS: (From Richard Jolly) Can confirm Everton are paying all of Barry's wages as part of the loan deal. They are around £120,000 a week, making him much the best-paid player in their history.

Ouch, hope this is just BS...

I am one of the few people who is happy with Barry. Great experience will really help McCarthy (got to admit didn't want him). Sad about Felliani we should have grown a pair and stood up to them, although made up Barnes is staying. Just hope lukaku is coming in.

Interested to know what wages we are paying him, but genuinely puzzled by the amount of stick that he's been getting from Everton fans. The guy's been a regular fixture in the City side in the last 4 years and has over 50 England caps, I think that speaks for itself.
