Hi All,

38 year old guy here now living in Sydney. Originally from Speke and lived around Hunts Cross, Garston etc..

Been a blue all my life, apparently my first game I was bunked in by my mum at the age of 9 months, pretty impressive I reckon.

Went to many games over the years till the age of 11 and had a record of about 33 games with no loss, I can't remember my first loss but I know some family members lost money on it.

Got my first season ticket at 13 when we were champions and not seen anything similar since, but....I am not a jinx!

My favourite player was always Trevor Steven but Andrei comes close, he was the excitement that I had missed for years. In the last 15 years there are players that have tried to fit that favourite role but really, nobody really comes close but Baines is up there.

Favourite game was the 4-1 at Elland Road, best atmosphere and having fans on 3 sides was just amazing.

Am I boring you yet? :-)

Oh and as for pizzas, no way, pizzas should not have pineapple on. Should be covered in meat and chillies!
 
Welcome aboard mate. Had a similar start goin to the match, was ages before i saw us lose. We were kinda spoiled in the 80s.
 

Cheers boys! Trying to get used to this forum, won't take me long though. :-)

By the way, I've only lived in Oz 6 years and I've been back loads so I don't quite say fair dinkum or flamin galah quite yet. I love a good day in the pub in my thongs drinking endless schooners though. :-)
