the behemoth above for me holds many grievances. so, lets start at the beginning. (i have prefixed the areas 1 and 2.)

1.b.) (contributions must) Be genuinely held (where they state opinions)

who decides what is genuine and what is not? is there room for irony? humour? or are these and other perceived traits deemed subservient to forum law?

2.a) (contributions must not) Contain any material which is defamatory of any person

any person? is this to say that to suggest lescott deserved his recent dropping to the bench in light of recent poor performances will lead to a forum reprimand?

i can go on with this...

2.b.) (contributions must not) Contain any material which is obscene, offensive, hateful or inflammatory;

anyone swore on this forum?
anyone posted a negative feeling about referees? the opposing side(s) ? the FA?

where do the forum laws start and stop? it is these laws that the entire forum are built upon.

hopefully this post will be seen as a post made out of concern for the direction this forum is headed, and not in a derogatory light which some or none may be quick to jump too.

best regards.

The rules are there as a general guide, how precise do you want them? - decisions are left largely the discretion of the moderators, with the rules serving as a guide to members. Do you want me to spend more endless unpaid hours on here creating an even more extensive rule list?

To put it bluntly, we dont allow members such as yourself to wish aids on other members, or wish death on others families and children... an example of one of your posts on here;

hopefully someone boards their houses up and sets fire to them with their respective families cooking inside. hopefully each official gets home just intime to hear the final charred screams of their children.

its time ineptitude (or worse) is punished.
Now even though we dont have a specific rule stating "You are not allowed to post of your desire to hear the screams children being cooked in flames", such posts are still not appreciated, Understand? Its impossible to set a specific rule for everything so using "well its not exactly in the rules" is no defence. It is still there as

b ) Contain any material which is obscene, offensive, hateful or inflammatory;
j ) Be threatening, abuse or invade another’s privacy, or cause annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety;
k ) Be likely to harass, upset, embarrass, alarm or annoy any other person;

etc....

As I said via PM, if you disagree with the rules and how this forum is run...
