more inclined to say it'll be a cheap fee for a perm transfer including a buy back clause than a loan, don't think deulofeu wants a loan again, wants to kick off with his career like Lukaku

...well, maybe. But I was referring to where in this team he fits.
With Cleverley and a playmaker in place next season and the glut of players we have further back, I just wonder where the hell we put him on a regular basis. We have less games, so that will become even more of an issue.
Was thinking the same. A lot of stories coming out of Spain now are saying Barca have put a 20 million euro price on him.Another loan Everton will be negotiating.
We still need to spend decent cash on a CB and a playmaker.
Because it's business. If he goes on to prove them wrong, and he becomes class they have a thing in place just in case, a fall back clause if you will. Why would they want a buy back thingy when they don't seem to rate him much?

Even if they don't activate it it's still an option for it, it's how they work
I dont see RM changing away from 4-2-3-1 anytime soon. Yes, he went to 4-1-4-1 late on in the season and it had an effect allowing McCarthy to get forward more (tells you all you need to know that he'd see McCarthy as the more adventurous of the two CMs in a four man midfield though!).We might play 2 ahead of a deep sitting DM, with Barry and Besic competing for the deeper position and Cleverley, Barkley and McCarthy competing for the 2 more advanced positions. We played that formation against United last season. Then get a playmaker to replace Pienaar out wide.
We have a ridiculous number of midfielders to play 4-2-3-1 though, Barry, Besic, McCarthy, Cleverley, Gibson and possibly Barkley to play in 2 positions.

If/when we sign a playmaker type, I'm convinced we're getting into the area of massive Barkley speculation - especially with this being a season running up to a major international tournament.
At 50m we'd all sake his hand and wish him well !That's why I think he won't be going anywhere this summer Dave. Realistically, only City in the PL would buy him now, and they're looking at getting three major targets in Sterling, De Bruyne and Pogba. Arsenal won't spend silly money on him, and Mourinho won't have him at Chelsea until his errors get cut out, and I can't see Van Gaal going in for him. We've got him for another year unless City get rejected on Pogba and decide to splash out £50mil on him.
