I was there tonight. Jo is terrible. Man City as a whole got absolutely dominated. Pathetic showing by them.

clearly you weren't watching, I have no doubts at all that he would've ran the show from start to finish, the ball acts as of glued to his feet, he shilly-shally's and stepsover all over the place, my guess is you just don't appreciate being showboated.
 

City was truly terrible - they were outclassed and outpassed by Sporting, players had no clue what to do, although part of the reason was a fact that Mancini tried a new formation (narrow diamond), which didn't suit players at all (for example Adam Johnson was playing centrally).

And Jo was actually quite decent... comparing to some of his teammates.

Also, it's another game which reminded me to be quite angry about the fact that we never tried to buy Pedro Mendes as a back-up to Arteta - Rangers bought him for 3m pounds and later Sporting got him from 1.5m.

We said that in the pre-season friendlies last year, too, remember?
 
I know, but I just couldn't agree he was playing [Poor language removed], just because he's Jo, when he was actually been decent.

Same thing I never followed bashing Vic, which was heavily happening here, even when he was actually decent in some games.

I thought he was awful myself. Hardly had a touch of the ball. Dont know what game you watched lid. Even Bellamy was throwing his hands up in the air every time he passed and Jo lost it.

Bellamy for example should shut up and convert a chance he had off the Jo cross in 1st half...
