God, it's years since i went there. I used to go about 15+ years ago. Find some lads with a tunnel, pay your fiver, and you were in. I believe that's all changed now.

This years line up seems to be full of has beens,never mind drugs its more like ovaltine they'll be handing out back stage.

I saw the Ramones, Undertones, and Hazel O'Connor in Rotterdam many, many, (way too many) years ago. Sunny day, drank a fair bit with some great mates and kissed a beautiful girl. I had a mighty fine day and really I should go again sometime. Reading is closest to me, and I already have a beautiful girl to kiss. Wonder who's on.

I think nowadays it's all things to all people. The big stages are for pop, the small tents are for the more interesting stuff.

Last time I went it had rained for days. It was horrible in the mud.

Yeah, wasn't that into some of the acts being mentioned this year, especially after great sets by Raconteurs and Kings of Leon last year.

Just got into Eagles of Death Metal - hadn't heard of them until I looked them up this week - is that ignorant of me?!!

Will prob be hanging around the smaller tents though, like you say - more interesting.

I think the Pyramid line-up is quite poor this year. The other stages look good though. I went in 2005 and loved it. Killers, White Stripes, New Order, Maximo Park were my highlights.

Stay clear of the big stages and you can find some great stuff though. Not just music either

I'm off to a Cider weekend instead at The Stubbing Wharf in Hebden Bridge. I fully expect to be hospitalised by Sunday. Smashing.

I was meant to be going but have choosen to go to a festival in Holland instead purely because I can smoke better herb
Oh and the musical role call is top notch .
