Good article on the potential demise of football...

Very good article, against some of those figures I don't think we look too bad. Liverpool are in some serious trouble too.

I don't think there will be much change while fat cats like Blatter are still in charge.

Very good article and spelling out clearly the cataclysm that is beckoning. I do not think Uefa reules will really make it that much better.

It is quite clear the main course of debt is transfer fees and wages. The sooner clubs say to players that is the wage on the table if you don't like it then buggar off. Pienaar is an example and the club are right to stand firm but did it give way to readily to Arteta? And what next Fellaini for example. Having a sugar daddy will not guarantee success, even if the club has potsful of money there are only so many top players around. It is the clubs who should be standing firm and not giving way to exorbitant wage demands and transfer fees but I do not think they wish to go down that route.

More clubs will idc go under, it is only TV money that is keeping them afloat ot should we say just half sunk.

Real and Barca will never go under, they aren't even "broke" as the article says. They'll never stop buying the best players. Just like our big banks the city/national govts of those respective teams will always bail them out.
