ALTOGETHER NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Personally IMO it says a lot if we have to go town to cheer about something, it is a couple of player's contracts. Sorry guys I know it will upset you but that is pathetic.

Maybe your negativity is your best way to deal with it rob, and maybe our happiness is justified, but to call us pathetic is a bit [Poor language removed]. What is pathetic to you may not be for others, maybe we are just happy that good players that we enjoy are staying. Sorry rob, I know this will upset you, but ram it. We are happy that good youth is staying. FFS

I'm with Gaz here. We're all gutted about Saturday's game, but let's take a step back. Back in August, if you'd been offered to skip to the second-last game and have us in the position we're now in, I suspect we'd all have said that's a huge step forward. Now we tie up 2 of the most promising young strikers in the game for an extra 4 years - whoch guarantees BT's departure.

Yes, it could be better - penalty calls, stupid goals conceded and all - but we actually do have some reasons to be optimistic at this stage. And more than just these 2.

This is good because it shows moyes has faith in both lads, which is brilliant because they both came through the youth setup together and will both know each other and each others games well.

Some clubs were looking at loans for vaughan in january if you remember, and loans are often the first step towards full transfers.

As it stands at the moment, i will sing the praises of even the smallest positive bit of news because this past two weeks have been a bit grim.

ps. Duncan Ferguson for prime minister!

After the rooney experience this is very good news that our future strike partnership of Vic and Vaughan have now signed new contracts, our future success looks a lot more assured now, great news.

Robert, I always thought that you would be on Moyes' case because he didn't go with the youth enough. I figured for sure this would make you happy.

That is not being negative Gaz and I am pleased that they have signed but to me this is small beer, there was hardly any doubt they would sign but to get so excited over that well. Agree with CT in that I hope it signals BT going and for me take McF with him.

Whilst it is as I agree good news but it will take more than two signings like this to satisfy me.

I never said I was satisfied, I never even hinted rob, but I am very happy that we are holding onto youth and not capitalising on them for profit and having to rely on old tired legs as has been the case for far too long. I only reacted the way I did to you as I was not impressed at being called pathetic. for that I apologise bud. But after the last 2 weeks, a draw would give me premature ejaculation. :D :D

Now I hope more youth is coming to the front as we need to build a better blue future

I fully agree,we need to hold onto them and not be a selling club. Just need to get rid of some useless deadwood. Do not get me wrong, I am angry but do not blame Moyes. I am furious that we had got ourselves into such a good position and a few players go and [Poor language removed] it up. Me I would fine Hibbert and Neville a months wages!!! When you think these are professionals on thousands a week and as Rob Japan stated do not even seem to know the basics of schoolboy football.

As for Hibbert apparently have a nice cheery chin wag with Rooney in the tunnel, well he can [Poor language removed] to the manure as well, does he have no idea of what the fans feel with regard to Shrek or do we count for sod all. AS for Neville probably going to a nice fat bonus at the end of the season from Ferguson.

Yes I am bloody blazing about it, but not negative or doom laden.
