Goodison Help and Advice?

Happy Christmas all. Life long Hammer coming in peace and hoping for some advice. My father in law (81) is a life long Everton fan. Born and raised in Fazakerley but now retired in Yorkshire. He's a had a crap year - ignoring Everton's challenges, his sister and brother both passed away and his wife was laid up in hospital for the first part of year. With that and the upcoming move we're trying to get him to Goodison for a game one more time as a Christmas gift. He's mobile enough and joins me at WH whenever he's down with us.

Obviously tickets (ideally 4 but at least 2) are a challenge without a season ticket or membership. Looking at the fixture list I was ideally looking at something low key like Palace, Burnley, Forest (or Spurs). I've spoken to hospitality and their approved resellers but sold out for the rest of season. Wondered if anyone knows any safe or legit ways to source tickets or can offer advice? Happy to pay what's needed to get him a good memory.

League games are hard to get two together, even with the membership but you might get lucky.

It's annoying that the club have introduced this, you pay the extra with no guarantee of getting what you want. The resale site they had last year was really good.

Possibly the next round of the fa cup if we get a dull home draw that's also on the telly.

I quite regularly have a spare ticket or 2 depending on my rota, opposition/time of the year etc. I've recently started using the resale site when I've had no takers amongst family/friends. Depending on date/game I should be able to provide 2 tkts for an old blue.
