Going to start going the gym with my mate soon. I'm going because I need to really just put on weight and muscle instead of being a little skinny bag head. Thing is, my diet is sh*te. I have a few mates who go and they do all that protein heavy diet. That the way to go?
 
Consume 1g of Protein per Pound of Body Weight
So if you weigh 200lbs, consume 200g of protein per day.
try to get most of your protein through food if possible, rather than just loads of protein shakes.
lift heavy and focus on compound lifts would be my advice.

Good luck lid. Stick at it. I remember first going the gym and thinking I stuck out like a sore thumb. Get a workout from the trainer there and stick at it.

Cheers lid. I'm going to be going with a mate so it'll be motivation to have someone I know around really. Why did you want to know where I live anyway? Haha.
