'Tis indeed. To be fair, the route isn't too bad. There's only one real climb apart from the Stelvio, but it's still a good 100 miles with over 3,000m of ascent, plus of course the 28km brute itself :) That's gotta be 2 hours of climbing I should think.

With 40 odd hairpins though I'm gonna have to get my descending nailed for the other side.

I'll be honest here Bruce, despite all the stick we give you, to even to attempt that, never mind looking forward to it, is just insane. I doff my cap to you.........

A mighty fine steed. You'll enjoy riding a roadie. They fly if you're used to mountain bikes.

Without getting too mushy about it, the mountains are probably the best place on earth, and for me getting up them on a bike is the best way to do it. It's a magical experience mate.

Except the Mortirolo. That was horrid, and the road was strewn with people bent double cursing in various languages

Back in the gym this week.

Time to get hench

I can't lose any more weight at 11.7st for ages now.

maddison do you rave eating sushi? ive started having it now
\\

Purely for taste, yes!! I love sushi! If you wanted to be anal, you'd ditch the soy and only eat it in the evening on a paleo regime.

Unless you're five foot, or need to be in a weight class for competing, I'm not sure sure you'd want to lose any more weight!

been strict on my diet this week cos last week was my mum's birthday and i was having all sorts, birthday cake, thai food, domino's x2

bad times

so been proper strict, only stuck to drinking water and green tea, eating fruit for snacks, having sushi and having a nice protein fueled tea with some carbs

its been going well, i might do it again next week as well before i allow myself another treat

i can see my belly fat is slowly coming down but still a bit of wobble there that needs going.
