1. Mikel Arteta v Bolton
2. Manual Fernandes v Mancs
3. Leon Osman vs. Watford

Good call Ich.

Technique wise I think Faddy wins hands down. Theres a lot of belters from distance, but what McFadden did was incredible, last minute and to show that kind of composure, goal of the season for me.

I just dont think you can neglect what Arteta did against Bolton- he ran from his own half and the front men made great runs to pull the defenders away from him, then to stick it in the top corner- MAMA MIA!

By the way, isnt it a refreshing change to talk about some great goals rather than a few mediocre ones that we make out to be better than they actually are simply because we havent anything better to choose from!

Aye! Oh to score 50+ goals a season EVERY season!!

Not neglecting it, I put it second (y) just think McFaddens was more difficult to do.

As you said though, its great to be talking about things like who's goal was better

I put Mcfaddens 3rd because as a fellow footballer I know its a lot harder to run and shoot than it is to stand and shoot- Mcfaddens goal was superb but Mannys and Artetas were in my opinion- better.

I agree with mick, Fernandes goal and Mikels was technically brilliant, especially Manny's, the way he went to go one way then went the other and his foot movement to kick the ball, the ball was kinda under him aswell, it was absolutely brilliant.

You hit the nail on the head there, all down to personal opinion and experience.

Myself, I always thought it was alot easier to shoot while running, to get that extra momentum behind the shot but the main reason I admire Faddy's strike more, is simply because he plucked the shot out the air... which to me, is the most difficult skill in football.

More members will side with you though, simply because Arteta's looked more spectacular and he's by far the more popular player.
