bertie auld sang it at inter milan in the tunnel in lisbon, scared the [Poor language removed] out of them. they even had it on their shirt before us, an anniversarry one for winning the european cup.
 

Doesn`t really matter who sung what first or who did whatever first.

The real meaning is what the song means to every Evertonian when they belt it out with pride at Goodison, I imagine we werent the first team to wear blue, or the first team Alex Young played for, but then they still mean just as much right?

we could well have been the 1st to wear blue tbh, certainly before celtic anyway.
