I will start.

Marco Tardelli screaming his own name as he scored the second against Germany in 82.

Its the [Poor language removed] dream!!!!!

I know he's dead to us, well me anyway, but Rooney at Elland Road was by far the best celebration I've seen and been involved in. I was sat 2rows back and was almost thrown onto the pitch by the intensity of the celebrations. All I remember is Rooney jumping high in the air just before the boys invaded the pitch and jumped on him. What a day that was.

I imagine they would like to "jump him" again :D

Remeber Facundo Sava used to play for Fulham whenever he scored he'd pull a Zorro mask out of his sock and run to the corner flag I thought that was a quality celebration.

brazilians doing the baby salute thing in wc 94. usually after romario scored.

yup. I listed the same celebration in a similar thread here about a month ago. It was a celebration inspired by Bebetto to celebrate the birth of his baby, which romario was more than willing to celebrate also as they were close friends.

That actually isnt true- Ramario and Bebeto hated each other they were of rival religions and rival areas within Brazil. Im gonna do some searching...

How bizarre. I wonder why they had the same celebration then. I stand corrected mate.

Maybe I was not all that wrong after all. (except for the close friends bit maybe?)

BACK in 1994, wee Dick Advocaat's previous spell as manager of the Dutch international side came a cropper in a spectacular quarter final against Brazil in the Cotton Bowl in Dallas. Dunga and his teammates eventually won 3-2 on their way to a fourth World Cup win but the game, in one sense, was a sideshow. The main performance was the celebration of the Brazilian strikeforce of Bebeto, Mazinho and Romario who pretended to rock Bebeto's newborn son Mattheus, who had been born, a few days earlier.
