Hello everyone,
My name is Brian and I live just outside of Washington, DC and was able to see the Blues in-person for the first time this past weekend. It was such a thrill to see them here in DC, I can't quite explain it but know my two-and-a half year old feels the same as her first words Sunday morning were: "Everton, Everton." Strong start for one so young. While I've enjoyed the site from afar for some time now, I felt it was the perfect time.

Thanks. Glad to be here.
Very enjoyable game and was able to meet some great Everton fans in our section. Definitely drew the better of the two games in the States.
Encouraged by Barkley's performance!

I would have liked to be have been there mate. Was there many American fans there? We have loads and loads of American fans on here, I didn't realise we were that popular over there.

Barkley looked fantastic in parts didn't he? I hope he pushes on this season.

I'd say the overall split was about 50/50 between DC United and Everton fans. So probably about 5000-6000 Everton fans, more than I expected and many of the Everton fans seemed to have American accents. Seems like the Everton fan base in the States has definitely grown in the past several years. I recently gave a presentation to about 80 people in which I made a brief reference to being an Everton fan and afterwards I had two people come up and introduce themselves as Everton fans as well. A very nice surprise

That's brilliant mate, and here is a good place for any American blue to post in (apart from the poster Dylan who's a tit) as I would guess it's got as many North Americans as any other Everton forum.

The Americans on here in particular bully the British, I hope you're nicer mate.

Typical poor showing by the DC fans.

I think there were a similar number Everton fans in Philly, and 14,000 Union fans.

We're not.
