Hello everyone. I'm a Blues supporter living near San Francisco in the U.S.

I'm very new to Everton. I found GOT through ToffeeWeb while looking for info. on the club's history. I've been aware of the team since the last World Cup due to Tim Howard, but I didn't start following them until earlier this year. In fact, the first Everton match I watched was the draw against Oldham in the FA Cup last February.

I'm glad to have found a place to interact with fellow Evertonians across the globe. See you all around the boards!

Howdy! Just been to San Fran, absolutely loved it. I'll never buy a round of Sambuccas in the Clift hotel again though, ever. $60 for 5....ouch

Tell me though, are you a 49'er ? I've always thought that Evertonians are more like the other lot that are a bit crazy.
Or are the Raider Nation just a bunch of bad bells in fancy dress ?

I actually live closer to Oakland than San Francisco and I am a long-time Raiders fan. I think the Raider Nation's bad reputation is exaggerated. I've been to several games where I saw away fans having a good time and not being bothered. Of course there's the rare fight and stabbing, but they haven't enforced fan segregation yet so I doubt it's ever gotten too bad.

Also, I'll be attending that friendly against Juventus. It'll be the first football match I'll see live so I'm pretty excited about it.

We are from the Grand Old Lady, they are the Grand Old Lady.

If you fancy making some sort of banner the 'RIP The 39, EFC' will go down great with both sets of fans.
