Hi Bundy,

Sikhism is now the World's 5th largest religion with 26 million followers worldwide.

Sikh festivals are occasions for Sikhs to rededicate themselves to the Faith. Even martyrdoms and death anniversaries of the Gurus, (Teachers), are festivals to inspire the faithful and remind them of their history and people like Guru Arjan Dev. People of various faiths, and no faith, are invited to these celebrations to give them a view of the Sikh faith and way of life. I had a meal with my friends, others just brought in food to share with colleagues.

I put this up as we recognise other faiths important days. I'm not trying to promote any belief system, just saying Hi to a group of people and to share in their day.

Probably not. I'm friends with one Sikh chap who's a fellow blue, (doesn't come on here though), and know many more who are good footie fans. No reason to assume there aren't any others on here. Just being friendly, like.
