Representatives of KEIOC will meet Keith Wyness, CEO of Everton Football Club, tomorrow morning.

The purpose of the meeting will be to define which way the ballot will be held regarding the people club’s fans.

No doubt, the transparent members of KEIOC will be campaigning for the version that will likely deliver them the most votes.

But one thing confuses me about all sides on this:

Who are the eligible voters?

And who do you think should be eligible to vote?

Season tickets holder for any of the last 25 seasons. Or anyone who have been to goodison for 5 times per season.
fair enough?

Sorry mate no offence intended, just having a laugh, personally i am against anything that may be used as a scoring system to distinguish the "blueness" of fans. I live in Ireland and try and get over for every home game, under the criteria above that would exclude in many aspect from having a vote.

Simarley other international blues like Rob, Dylan, C.T., R.T.B.M. T.X. etc i imagiine would also be excluded, not due to devotion but circumstance.

I'm also one of them, and that was really why I posed the question.

I haven't got a clue what a fair way to do this would be, or (not necessarily the same) what the club or pressure groups are trying to propose....

It's not a satisfied all solution, neither am I under that criteria I've mentioned. Firstly we have to distinguish who are the true everton fans instead of some red [Poor language removed] trying to mess with our vote.
Secondly, we have to give priority to thoes who have frequent goodison more than anyone else. It is in fact a local city decision and a decision to be made by thoes who visit the ground more than anyone else anywhere in the world. To put in bluntly, you can't ask an iraqi to vote for president of United States.
Maybe I'm wrong and I'm curious to know if theres a better way too.

How would you verify that Welts?? I voted for only season ticket holders as it is the only fair way to do it. If anybody can register, what is stopping the KEIOC group from having multiple registrations to sway the vote, or somebody pro-move do the same thing. Unless they come up with a way to ensure each person has ONLY one vote, then season ticket holders only.
