I saw a lot of running down the wing and crosses into a 5 ft 5 fella, prime wenger played better footieI wouldn't. City's running off the ball is something else.

Disagree.I saw a lot of running down the wing and crosses into a 5 ft 5 fella, prime wenger played better footie
Late 90’s Utd and Arsenal were far more fun to watch . So many memorable games both were involved in . City might play nicer football but NEA

John Stones knows exactly what he needs to do if he is to regain his place in the Manchester Cityteam.
The England international started the season as Nicolas Otamendi 's partner as was superb through the autumn but has started just two of City's last 14 games, the last coming in the 2-1 defeat to Basel at the start of last month.
Guardiola is not willing to write off the former Everton defender, having seen him make considerable strides forward this season as he grew to believe in the confidence the manager had in him.
While left out of the squad to face United at the weekend, it was down to injury precautions rather than form after picking up a knock in training having missed the previous game owing to concussion picked up on international duty
However, with Kompany still competitive on big occasions and club record signing Laporte going nowhere, if Stones didn't know he has to up his game if he is to get back into the first team then his manager was happy to let him know via the media.
"I want to tell you, with Nico in the first few months of the season John was the best - or one of the best - central defenders in the world," he said.

John Stones.
"Then he had an injury with the national team and had six or eight weeks off, and after he came back he had a few problems.
"The reason why he was out in the last games was Vinny and Nico have been so good. That has happened during the season with players in better positions.
"Then he had concussion with the national team, and couldn't play against Everton.
"He went seven days without a training session.
Liverpool have injury concerns for Man City tie as they wait on Mohamed Salah
"He felt something when he trained in his abductor [ahead of United], it was not perfect and I decided not to take the risk.
"Of course he's not in the same level with Aymeric, Vinny or Nico but he knows the confidence I have in him and the work he has done over two seasons, especially this season.
"He grew up and made a step forward with his mentality and quality, playing regularly every three days.
"He has to fight with these guys to convince me he is ready to play, that is the reason he was not in the squad against United."
Exactly. Leaving the debate about how good he is to one side, City should have had the tie level at 3-3 going into HT yesterday were it not for dodgy refs. That would have left them going through and put a completely different complexion on the 2nd half.In fairness if he was in charge of United he’d be in the semis and have won the title now. The refereeing the last 3 games has been an utter disgrace. Offside goals given, 3 legit goals denied, 2 pens denied. Difficult to achieve anything when the refs shaft you.
100% better than any central defender we have. Would have him back in a shotSo John Stones is a massive Fanny..
Who knew ?
