Didn’t offer enough to make something happen against a poor side.

Frustrating to watch as he is obviously a good player but I can’t help but feel we’d be better off with Richarlison, Lookman and Bernard behind Tosun.

He did his job, did it well to the most part.

Was a lot more involved today than he has been lately. That's what people wanted from him.

However, it means when he did get the ball he was deeper and wider and so he didn't really have any chances to slide balls through. He did have one chance in the second half but got it wrong.

He was better than he has been but it was against a team who have lost almost every single game this season.

We have to expect more.

How many points have his goals won us this season?

Edit: 9 points I’ve worked it out as. 9 of 30. That’s not too bad considering he’s been so poor.

Everyone asking for him to be dropped, do we have anyone else in the squad that we can play here?

I mean realistically, not the FM and FIFA shouts of Lookman or Bernard.

The thing with that is no one knows what the results would have been without him playing. We may have more to show for it.

It was against a team that had a new manager, at home in front of a buoyant crowd, who were charging in and relying on niggly fouls.

Yes, we have to expect better from all of our players, but given the lack of confidence the entire team had going into the game, and playing a system that we haven't played at all so far this season (but it worked), I think they all played pretty well.

Solid, if not spectacular.

Not the answer long term.

Its pretty clear to me that hes a marmite player...

Depends if we want him in the team to come up with 1 or 2 super pieces of ability each game but not the all action or exciting playmaker type.

For me, I like him but hes just not someone I like enough to want to watch...

We need to try and get a £25mil bid in the summer for him...

I just don’t get Sigurdsson at all. I’m sure we could have got that Mooy for a lot less. He came on last night & had an immediate effect on the game. Everything went through him, he dictated the pace, draws markers, great range of passing. With better players round him, he could open up defences. Sigurdsson just wants to flick it every time. Some come off, most don’t.
