So, I just read a newspaper rumor from the BBC saying -

"Pompey want to hijack Everton's bid to sign Yakubu by selling David Nugent to Derby for about £4.5m and using the cash, plus £7m-rated Gary O'Neil, to buy the Boro star. "

this knocked me back a bit, they just bought him for 7m and now want to take a 2.5 MILLION pound loss on him in a few months....

now, is nugent THAT bad? or are pompey THAT stupid?

seems odd that anybody would want to sell a guy they only just bought for 7m or any other amount of money.

anyone glad we didn't buy nugent?

I don't see why Harry is looking to offload him already, its not as if he's had a fair crack of the whip.

There are rumours that the Liverpool born player is hating life on the south coast. Oh and apparently Nugent was £4.5m which could go to to £6m dependent on honours etc.
