Fiorentina coach can't forget Heysel tragedy

The last time Fiorentina coach Cesare Prandelli came up against Liverpool he was as a Juventus player during the tragic Heysel stadium disaster in the old European Cup final in 1985.

It's no wonder they promise to keep turning their backs on Liverpool's lame attempts at reconciliation when the club's official site carrries non-apologies like this: Heysel - Liverpool FC It borders on the insulting.

Just put your hands up and take the blame FFS.

Please let's not have a Heysel argument. :)

You're right. It's not good bringing it up, but when you see after all this time some new piece of garbage from the club itself with all it's qualifications of what went on before, and what Liverpool fans ddidn't realise, and who was 'really' to blame on the day, it can wind anyone up.

did Liverpool really lose tonight, seriously, I haven't heard any results.

Yes, it is true, it was just on the radio.

I don't suppose they were that bothered, it was an academic game as they were out anyway, but even so, it's too much to bear in silence.

That just breaks my heart, that night in Turkey must seem like the Jurassic period now for their supporters, I still don't say they won it that night, it's true to say that milan lost it.
