Not a rant. But are you now as disillusioned as I am with it .
5 trips over from Ireland this year at a cost of 200/300 a time and it's not enjoyable anymore. The 10 minutes before kick off are the highlight of the game.
They will always be my club, and I know I cannot switch off from them but those at the top have ruined it for me anyway. There is no connection now between the club and the fans .
Booking a trip over and looking forward to it used be something that was good for my head . Now it has the opposite effect. And for those who go home and away it must be even worse .

I really do feel sorry fans who go through thick and thin. Or follow obsessively from afar and go when they can. The club and Everton games become imbued into family and friendship rituals and pull folk together.

It is ultimately only a game, but it does mean much more to folk than that too.

20 years ago I'd be fuming but I'm pretty much resigned. But I'm far less invested than many - be that from being a regular match goer or living close to Goodison.

Hideous watching the slow unravelling over several seasons.

Other big teams have been relegated & bounced back with changes......We took a few seasons to get back last time in 1954- it's sad but may see the ineptitude of our present board go which is needed ..

They did last season. This season after we didn't sort out our forward options at the start of the season, I knew we were more likely than not going down.
