Well, I've been around far too long without introducing myself so here goes..

My name's Jess and I'm an American living in London. I played football as a kid (I don't really like American sports except baseball) and went to MLS games pretty often so once I moved here I started paying attention to the Premier League but just as a neutral party. It was really exciting for me when Landon Donovan came here on loan as I've seen him play many times and been following his career for years. After he left, I thought to myself, 'am I really going to do this' and realized I'd fallen in love with the club, the players, the history, the supporters &c. Now I obsess over it all just like the rest of you. I went to my first match (against Fulham) a few weeks ago and it was brilliant, totally different than going to see any sort of sports in America, but great. I really want to go to loads more games now, I'm going to the match at White Hart Lane next week, and I hope to make it up to Goodison Park sometime in the spring -- I've never been to Liverpool so I'm really looking forward to that.

Oh and pineapple on pizza is heresy.

I've been watching Baseball and the Cardinals for over 25yrs. Not too many baseball fans in Northern ireland tho. We do use the bats for the wrong reason tho :P

Welcome fella, keep spreading the Blue religion down there. I've been doing missionary work in the North East & Yorkshire for 20 years myself :D
