Helllllloooo. I'm Jarron, and I'm from Indianapolis, Indiana. Been following Everton for a decent amount of time now (since 2010?), and as my love for the team grows, as does my need for information and communication around the team. I've met a decent amount of other Evertonians here in Indianapolis, and we are currently working on setting up an official SG. I'm ridiculously excited for the matches over the next few weeks, and I'm looking forward to chatting with you all. COYB

Side story: My first club is my home side, Indy Eleven (NASL ("Divison II") with a lower division team starting play in the spring), and I would be more than happy to preach about them if anyone is interested in listening. I was one of the founders of the supporters group who started the push for the team in the city, and we will be starting our third season in the league this coming April.

Welcome Jarron. Happy to have you here at GOT. Lots of us Americans in here, I'm in Florida.

I picked up a degree from IU Bloomington back when dinosaurs roamed the earth. I was in the band at courtside in Philly when IU won in '76, for example.

Are you fond of pineapple on pizza, or do you consider this to be an abomination? Consider your answer carefully.

I'm a Purdue grad myself.

As for my answer to pineapple on pizza... I've eaten it before.. and I may eat it again at some point.

Great school. Your football success and your administration's stance on athletic spending has prepared you for a lifetime of following Everton, as has mine. A Kopite would now point at all those banners behind the basket at Assembly Hall, but I won't. You're sitting at the table with @RAFUH which isn't a bad thing, if you don't mind gingers.

Carlos is dead boss, by the way. Hope you're having a a good one carlos mate.

Thanks mate you mean a lot.

Mezzrow, I couldn't give less of a damn about the Purdue/IU rivalry. Every year I was in school (2010-2014) I could have seen 100 high school [american] football games better than the Purdue/IU matchup. I have a TON of friends in and from Bloomington, and if I had a choice, I'd rather go there anyway.

Layne, if you swing by again let me know. Come down for an Indy Eleven match in the spring!

And thank you to Carlos and ilikecheese for the welcomes!

No prob at all. We just agree that nobody really cares much about (American) football at our respective educational institutions. Football games are a place to talk about how basketball recruiting is going. Purdue throws nickels around like manhole covers (at least on athletics), which should prepare him well for Evertonian life. Spending money isn't all you need to build quality anyway (looks across park)...

In that case welcome to GOT @jburdine x
