Greetings!
I've had this account for a while and have been following GOT on Twitter for quite a while, but have decided it's way past time to stop lurking and get active in the forums.
I'm from Milwaukee, WI, USA, which for those that don't know is a city similar in size and history to Liverpool, except instead of manufacturing and dockwork being the traditional industries that are being replaced by service work, it's manufacturing and beer being replaced by service work and superior craft beer. Good trade, I'd say. And our professional athletics are a little bit less successful. But don't worry, we have beer for that.
I first discovered the sport through the US national team, and followed one of my personal favorites in Landon Donovan over to Everton in his last loan spell in 2012. Fell in love with the tradition, history, and the ability to get more out of less money and have been an Evertonian ever since.
All-time favorite player is tough for me, as I haven't been observing the club closely for that long. Given the short window, I guess I'd say Fellaini. Enjoyed his play up until this year, and am currently really enjoying the massive stack of cash the club got from his transfer. Thanks Afroman!
Current favorite player is Tim Howard, for no other reason than I'm a bloody homer. The dulling of his form has been affecting his international play too. Fellow American supporters call for Brad Guzan to get more playing time over him incessantly, but I have faith the man can regain his touch and get a few more good years out of his career.
Believe it or not, pineapples are actually the one food I am allergic to. Get canker sores all over the inside of my mouth. It's really unpleasant. So no, no pineapples on pizza. Ever.
