Been a fan of Everton since the early 00s, really enjoy this board! I'm from Philadelphia and was able to enjoy Everton play my local side in a friendly last year and I'll be making a trip this coming spring to see Goodison with my own eyes for the first time!

Heres to a great season!

Ha, the cheese believe it or not is from New York! I'm of course from the great city that is the birthplace of the stars and stripes!

I always wanted to go because of the Fresh Prince but then Tom Hanks caught AIDS there mate.

Was in NYC a few months ago and had a boss Philly Steak Sandwich. Only ace places get boss butties* named after them.

Hey now you can't have a really Philly Cheesesteak anywhere outside of Philadelphia. Just isn't right. If you thought it was good in NY just wait till you have one here!

Smokin' Joe was my personal hero! In fact I have a dog (boxer breed) named Smokin' Joe. His gym is actually pretty close to where I work. He was the best damn boxer ever, knocked Muhammad Ali on his ass. Best part about it, after all the awards and money he made, he was the most modest man I have ever met. I was so sad when he passed
 
I read a book about him, how he used to train when he was a kid, used to do his roadwork coz he thought that's what all his opponents would be doing, good idol to have mate, he's a fkn legend

can't remember what that fkn book was though, would love to give it a re-read

I supposed I should show my true colors here for you guys. While I love everything about Everton and what the team represents, the truth is my entire family is from Turin, Italy (my grandfather came over in the 50s) and I sort of have a history with Juventus! My family has watched (and even been involved with) the bianconeri since their inception way back when and, by birth, I'm a Juventino at heart. Everton will always be a very very close 2nd, I'm in love with the work ethic and attitude of the club. Thanks again for your welcomes!

Haha, the thing that really makes a cheesesteak is the roll... They're all on "Amoroso Rolls" which are native to Philadelphia, people joke that its made with the Schuylkill River water (really dirty river that flows right through the city)
