Welcome mate, good to have you here. Went there a couple of years ago, would like to live in Niagara-on-the-lake but need a lottery win soon.

Good to have you here.

lovely place niagara on the take, not too expensive outside the old town.
They still wont allow a macdonalds but Tim Hortons have a coffee shop now.
love the Shaw festival in NOTL.

Nice way of living over there, good folk too.

Nah, NOTL is not like any other canadian town.
The Tims has been there just over a year, before that they wouldn't allow any fast food type places.
i keep meaning to go to the bar at the Colonel Butler Inn (its a cheap motel) as its supposed to be a meeting place for local scousers. never got around to it.
There's a bar in Niagara Falls that's run by a blue, again never got around to going there, Everton flags and memorabilia. I think the blokes name is Brian Harris, but he's not an ex-player

Loving that, blues everywhere. Bumped into a few in Toronto but if one's set up there then that's a bonus and no mistake mate. Do you manage to catch most of the games on the satellite over there?

Do you go across the border for your shopping? My mate was telling me of how much cheaper it is.

i get most of the games on the telly, sportsnet and sportsnet world (used to be setanta)
the rest i get over the internet or like todays england game i use expatshield and watch the match on ITV live.

i don't go over the river much. It's a pain with a uk passport. took out canadian citizenship last october but haven't got around to getting a passport. when i get one i'll be shopping across the river a lot more. it's much cheaper for everything.

when you take out canadian citizenship you swear allegiance to her maj. You can do it on a holy book of your choice.
So i chose to swear the oath of citizenship on the 1995 cup final program.
cool story bro, etc. haha.
