Been following the forum as a guest for years so figured I’d register.
- from? Dumfries (yup, I’m a doonhamer) but London now.
- why the blues? Cousin lived in Liverpool as a youth and converted me at age 4. Born into great times as this was the early 80s, but as a 4 y/o it meant nothing. Formative years were the 90s. Worst game I ever went to was the 4-0 shoeing Walter smith’s team got from the smoggies in the FA cup. Dreadful stuff.
- fave player? I’ll stick to age bracket, so it’s a small pool, but Cahill and Arteta were awesome. Notable mention to pienaar. How did we not sign Donovan??
- fave current player? Digne is an absolute steal! Who doesn’t love our Brazilians?
- pineapple on pizza? If people put manky stuff like anchoive and tuna then singling our pineapple is misplaced. Yes please.
- football ethos? I’m baresi rather than Baggio.

So, here’s to the new season, I for one am looking up the table and thinking there is genuine scope for us to push to break the top 6, and who knows, top 4? Just needs momentum and belief, we showed we could compete at the top level at the end of last year.
