In one word - yes, it is nice place :)
Basically I can split Latvia in three parts- capital city Riga, Latgale (it's region like Scotland in UK) and contrysaid with citys with 10k -20k population.
If you want to party 24/7, you can do it in Riga old town.
And Latvian bigest stadium is with 10k seats :)
