No one is forcing anyone to read anything.

Perhaps consider doing something else instead?

If I wanted I could also limit anyone's posts to a set amount a day. Or even put posts into approval before going live.

But it doesn't need to come to that.

The transfer thread needs restricting to two posts max per poster per day to stop the passive aggressive jarg-scout ferrets monopolising what should be some stop hub for latest news on Everton. Failing that please close the Wrestling thread and I feel this will focus everybody to be better.

Ah, I remember the time I jokingly suggested we should have two transfer threads, one for decent rumours and one for gossip which I then implemented and caused huge amounts of fume from people who hated being labelled as posting bollocks.

Not sure about the low visit time being because of people monopolising threads. I've barely visited or posted for weeks and it's because last season took so much out of me that I've needed to step back and stop thinking about Everton for a while. No Everton podcasts, no angsty forums, no stadium drone videos... And it's been lovely.

Suspect I'm not the only one. We'll all crowd back in soon.
