Been reading this forum for a while now and find it really useful in keeping up to date with fans views (both young and old) on all things EFC. I'm not someone who posts really, mainly because I'm out of the house alot (usually watching my teenage son's play footy and cricket etc). I was lucky enough to be watching EFC in the mid eighties and will always treasure those days. My first hero was Alan Ball but I was only ten when he left for Arsenal. My lads always ask me what it was like to follow Everton when we had Sharpy, Steven, and Reidy etc, and its difficult to explain how good we were by comparison to todays trauma's!! Still at least they both support EFC and they both went to the Cup Final v Chelsea (and the Utd semi). We all have season tickets but missed the QPR game cos we were on holiday (gutted when I heard the result!). Back yesterday and pleased we won, but I fear for us at the moment. Can't wait for the Villa game now though as it will be me and my lads first of the season. Anyway, I'll keep visting GOT for all the latest news. Cheers everyone.
