I've been lurking here for a couple months, and finally posted in another thread, so I guess it's time to introduce myself. I grew up in Chicago, but have lived in Washington DC for about 15 years. Spent a year in London (Camden Town) when I was a kid, and vividly remember the first question my classmates at Primrose Hill school asked me when my new teacher introduced me: "what football team do you support?" Didn't have an answer then (it was 1980!), but I do now -- Everton all the way.
Yes, I'm another yank jumping on the forum bandwagon because of Landon Donovan, but to be fair I've followed the club closely since Tim Howard joined, and it feels like home. I'll be here whether Donovan stays the remainder of the season or re-signs post-World Cup. I have twin 3 year olds now, and one of these years I'm going to take them to a match at Goodison Park. (They don't seem too interested in coming to my games, but I've promised them Goodison will be different.
