I haven't been an Everton fan long. I started supporting Everton when I met my boyfriend in 2007. Mind you it is a wonder I support Everton, cos Merseyside screwed my life up in 1981. I should have gone to Shefflield Hallam Poly and instead I spent 6 weeks on the Wirral helping clear areative's house

I used to follow 2 local teams but I never got as interested as I am in Everton, as I buy shirts etc and let everyone know. In S****horpe I am surprised at how many Everton fans there are, actually more than Man Utd/Liverpool/Chelsea.

I mentioned Everton to my dentist and found out he was an Everton fan too. He trained at Liverpool University for his degree.

I have seen Everton play a few times, at Grimsby Town in the 80s and Chelsea in 1978. At the Chelsea game they won 1-0 and Bobby Latchford scored the only goal. Its just that it is difficult to get to Liverpool and I'd want to stay a few days so I could do the Liverpool music scene too.

I favourite player is Bainsey, cos he's cute, but I also quite like Jags. Normally though I prefer to pick a player that is useless so I can take my work stress out on, such as Hettinger or Ossie or Jelly.

At work I get a lot of stick for supporting Everton, and it is from Liverpool fans!!
 

Welcome mate, honestly I was attracted to this thread by the ****. Language filters are great.

btw i take it you're female. Chose to use mate as luv or similar would be condescending. Ijjy's the only one i'd call luv mainly because it fits him.
