But, yes. Had a top notch Ginsters Cornish on a buttie for me lunch. with chilli relish for added enhancement.

Talking of pasties, whilst shopping at Asda the other day, I picked up a 4 pack of Ginsters Steak pasties, for a very reasonable price of £2.

Upon eating the aforementioned pasties I must say I wasnt impressed at all.

I would say it was lacking in some way, shame really.

Can't say i've ever been impressed with the steak ones myself either. The cornish pasties from ginsters are nice done in the oven though

I've strange eating habits so could (in the UK) only eat a few from Holland Barrett. But loved the porkless pie and Jamaican pastie.

When I was a kid, Pimblett's were the best, though.

Their more expensive cousins, the motorway servicestation type, are nicer but vastly overpriced.

You pay about £2.50 at Service stations, just for 1! I agree they are better, but DAMN.

All servicestation food is superb, but you mostly need a bank loan to properly eat.

Never had a pastie per se - other meats wrapped in pastry yes.

Went on the Ginsters website to see what's being discussed - that Buffet Bar in the "Savouries" section looks downright awful. The original Cornish looks well but what is a "swede".

It there a bit of Elm in your pastie?
