I remember the game well. 8-3 we won, all 5 of our forwards scored. Derek Tapscott their Centre-forward had to go in goal due to goalie being injured.
I think that result sent Cardiff into Div 2.

It said on the programme 28th April 1962. That was 1961/62 RS & Leeds promoted from 2nd Division to first , after 8 seasons in the 2nd (Some history).
Twelve months later it was our turn to take the Country by its throat. We beat Spurs to the Championship and they were a great double winning side
2 years previous, we were too good for the ' Busby Babes mark 2.' Every team in those days had good players. I can remember clapping the
opposition for a good move etc. and to think what's happening now to the likes of Grealish!?
