Everton Captain Phil Neville has tipped fellow right-back Tony Hibbert to play a key role in the clubs run-in.
Speaking to EvertonTV, Neville said: "He was my man of the match without doubt. We have all seen how awesome Petrov has played all season for Manchester City.
"He was their dangerman and he didn't get a kick which was all down to Tony Hibbert.
"We are all really proud and really pleased he is in our team,"
"He's a top defender and a great lad to have around. He's been in and out the side and never moaned.
"He gets on with his job and comes in and produces top class performances."
