Love the first page on this thread. First class example of the negative teds that make Goodison a depressing place sometimes. Tolos will be outstanding in the coming years.

I take your point. But to put the first page of this thread in to context, people had been waiting patiently in blind faith for something to happen and then a few hours before the window closes we find out that we have signed an unknown player who will go straight in to the reserves.

I too think Vellios will turn out to be a good signing but at the time I think people were feeling frustrated.

He looks useful to me. Seems composed whenever he gets the ball, looks strong in the air and he seems quite mobile for a player of that style. He chases everything down.
