How long is it going to take for me to get frustrated on here then?

Have been reading & mailbagging on TW for sometime now and am getting increasingly frustrated by the immense negativity surrounding the club at present.

Me personally? Everton fan from out in the sticks in the Cotswolds. Have been since the late 70s when I was a contrary little [Poor language removed] who decided to swim upstream against the tide of Liverpool fans.

Welcome. Dont think it will take too long to get annoyed as there is quite a bit of negativity around at the moment. TBH though, there is good reason at the moment as we are in a really bad place with the squad and nothing seems to getting done about it.

During the season its normally quite good apart from the month of Janurary when it gets negative again.

Keep the faith though.

Is there really much cause for negativity though? We've not invested in players - this is true. But we're in a stronger position than we were this time last season. We have an £18 million striker on our books and I think every man and his dog knows that at the very least there will be one big money signing before the end of the month.

I'm seemedly alone in applauding Moyes attitude towards the money hungry bastards who run and play the game. 1) He has his price for a player and sticks to it. 2) He has a wage structure and sticks to it. I'd rather see us operate on this model than fall apart through excessive spending in the manner than Leeds, Soton, Pompey and the like have in the past.

What will happen to Man City when the oil men decide to take their money elsewhere because the mercenary bunch that Sparky has assembled fail to perform? They'll go under due to their astronomical wage obligations which NO club could self fulfil.

It is an accurate assessment, i dont disagree but.....

1. We have 2 fit center backs in Lescott and Yobo. One dont wanna be here so i dont care what anyone says but he wont give his all. Im not including Rodwell as as good as he is, he still doesnt have the experience we require.

2. We had a small squad last year and its not smaller. Non of the players that have been brought in are first team with the exception of Jo.

3. If we have any injuries we dont have people to step into the team, especially in right midfield. Arteta could play there but we all saw what he did in the middle and we want him to stay there.

4. Why wait until the end of the month to get a "big signing" in. Why not in July to give them the whole of pre season with us?

These are my gripes and im sure others differ. I can completely see what was being said and only time will tell.

You'll be sound mate, we've recently aquired a small gathering of absolute belters who despise themselves and try to take it out on Everton Soccer Club.

We dont do all that tedious stuff on here, we prefer talking about savoury food and in particular pizza toppings: do you like pineapple on ze pizza?
