Holy Trinity Statue.

No disrespect to the three but probably 90% of the city of Liverpool won't even have heard if them players. I started supporting us mid 80s as a kid and even then I wouldn't have been able to name the holy trinity then.We need to drag ourselves into the 21st century, all our legends are from the black and white era. The RS are constantly making new ones.

I don't dispute their ability but I think it is too far down the line for statues of them now. These are for history books and personal memories. It just shows to the modern day supporter that all we do is look backwards.Where,is our Salah, Gerrard,Suarez etc because that is all the local kids and fans of the future will remember in 10 years time.

Absolute shocking, no excuse for an adult Evertonian not to know who the Holy Trinity are even 90% of the RS would be more respectful towards them.

Never understood why we hold Alan Ball in such high regard.

Hes basically Ross Barkley of the 60s.

I guess you had to be there.
........ high regard he was world class mr perpetual motion up there with today's Messi!
We won Derby games with him in the side too pure class if you did not see him?

It's not a case of 'I guess you had to be there' it's all about knowing your history

Alan Ball - Everton Legend, World cup winner, MoM in World cup final, broke British transfer record twice, league championship winner with Everton, scorer of great goals against all the top teams of their day, he of silky skills or hardman tackles take your pick.

Ross Barkley = Chelsea bench warmer.

Is it a full moon tonight or something.

No need to be an arse about it, I mean World Cup winner, have we become West Ham now?

I know my history, I realise he was an excellent player, I know what the holy trinity is, just as somebody who never watched him play LIVE, nor somebody that was around in his time, I dont understand why we hold a player in high regard that jibbed us off for a rival.

I follow my own path, nobody tells me who my idols are.

Wowzers Mounts I'd better back off you are such a hard case, you certainly do know your stuff, Bally really did mug us off how mistaken of me, I'm so glad you chose Ross as your idol and didn't allow anyone to force him on you, I bow to your superiority.

I thought Everton sold him when he didn’t want to leave?

My uncle, who is 65 now, said he was absolutely devastated when the club sold Alan Ball.

I suppose thats where it comes from, all the male peers in my family either didnt really "follow" football or were kopites, the majority of people always say he was my Dads/Uncles/Grandads idol.
